I am Architectural Technician who trades under the business name of BDS Architecture formerly known as Building Design Services. I provide an efficient Architectural Design and Detailing service to local authorities, industry, business and individuals.
Although BDS Architecture is known more for their domestic portfolio, the company does have a significant record in the residential, sheltered housing, leisure, industrial and commercial sectors.

· Multi Use Games Area.
· Sports Changing Room refurbishment and extension.
· Swimming Pool refurbishment and new build Changing Rooms.
· School extensions and remodelling work.
· New two storey Office Block.
· Extensions to a Sport and Social clubhouse.
· New build individually designed homes for private clients notably a five-bedroom house with swimming pool, snooker room and fitness gym.
My main line of business is the design and detailing of building works and preparing drawings for planning permission and building regulations approval. I also project manage work throughout the construction stage.
All of my work is CAD based and I try as far as possible to use email and web based programmes to send and receive information after the initial site visit.
More recently I have started to generate 3D visualisations as part of pre-planning consultations and to assist me in the early planning stages with the client.
For the last year I have been a member of a business group that works as a team with the aim helping to grow each other’s business. We have a breakfast meeting once a week, and the group continues to grow and has been successful in generating over £800,000 worth of business in 16months.
